B. Hole-in-One
#1: Can a player in a 2-ball flight claim insurance for his hole-in-one achievement?
Yes, a player in a 2-ball flight may claim insurance for his hole-in-one achievement. He will have to submit the following documents to facilitate the claim within 30 days of achieving the hole-in-one:
a. Score Card signed by player and witnessed by his flight-mate
b. Hole-in-One Report issued by the Golfing Department
c. Original bill for the celebration expenses
#2: Can a player in a single-ball flight claim insurance for his hole-in-one achievement?
Yes. If a player is playing alone and has seen the ball going into the hole, he should wait for a witness to accompany him to the hole to validate his claim. In this respect, the player can ask the players behind him or call the golfing office for a marshal to witness his achievement. The claim procedures in Question 1 apply.
#3: Can a player claim insurance for his achievement if the game is aborted after 3 holes and the course is off limits for the day due to inclement weather?

C. Practice on Turf
We are pleased to inform Members that effective Mon, 4 Jul 2011, the driving range will be available for practice on turf every Monday evening from 6.30pm to 10pm.
Please ensure that practice is carried out within the areas demarcated. The individual bays will be denoted by markers, and the turf area will be demarcated by coloured ropes.
D. Bare Areas on the Golf Course
The bare areas on the golf course are the result of pesticide treatment against mole crickets. The bare areas shall remain until the mole crickets are completely eradicated before re-turfing can take place.
Evidence of mole cricket infestations are spongy areas, where the grass have been eaten just below the surface, separating the plant from its roots.
Management shall continue the necessary cultural practices to eradicate this problem.
E. Smoking on Golf Course
Before the cigarette butts become unsightly on our course, with immediate effect, smoking is allowed only on the tee-boxes and in buggies.
