Changes to CHS from 1 Jan 2020

From 1 January 2020, a single unified handicap system – the World Handicap System (WHS) will be implemented.  

Developed by the R&A and USGA in close coordination with existing handicapping authorities, the new system will provide all golfers with a consistent measure of playing ability, as handicaps will be calculated in the same way wherever they are. Golfers will be able to use their handicap index on any golf course around the world. 

 How will it impact golfers?

•  Existing users do not need to download the new app as it will automatically update itself on 26 Dec 2019.  
• As all technical changes are already calculated on the backend of the system, simply be ready for the new mobile interface and remember to submit your scores promptly after a round!
