Golf Booking Conditions

Due to the COVID-19 situation and Safe Management measures, there will be NO PHYSICAL QUEUES till further notice. Members are advised to observe social distancing at all times and refrain from coming to the Club if you are unwell.

 

GOLF OPERATING HOURS

  1. The golf course will open from 7.10am daily.
  2. All golfers are required to exit the course by 7.30pm.

 

GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS FOR ALL GOLFERS

  1. If a principal member has booked a flight, his/her spouse will not be allowed to book another flight on the same day. The same condition applies if it is the spouse who has booked a flight. Members caught contravening this rule will have their flights cancelled automatically.
  2. Members must play on the flight that they booked. If for any reasons the BOOKER is unable to play, the flight must be returned to the Club (via phone or email) & will be made available for those on the waiting list. Members caught contravening this rule will have their flights cancelled automatically.
  3. Each member is allowed to book and play either 1 round of Timesheet OR 1 round of GP on either Saturday or Sunday per week. Public holidays are not included in the weekend count.
  4. All golfers are to register/report to the starter 15 minutes before their tee-off times.
  5. For any cancellation after the closing date for timesheet and GP, a penalty of $50 per golfer will be charged.
  6. In the event of inclement weather, buggy fee shall be charged at 9-holes rate for any tee-off after 9.45am or 4.00pm.

 

FOR WEEKDAY GOLF 

To mitigate the technical issues because of high volume of bookings brought about by the Covid-19 travel restrictions, the Green Sub-committee deliberated at length and decided to implement an online ballot system for weekday timesheet bookings that will provide all members a fair opportunity to play. This interim system will be in place until the new booking system is ready for launch.

With that, the current golf ballot/reserved slots for members who have had no successful slot to play for 2 consecutive weeks will cease.

Submission for Ballot Opens: Every Fri @ 9am (with effect from Fri, 16 Oct for 26 – 30 Oct timesheet)
Submission Closing Date: Every Sun @ 11.59pm
Ballot Results: Ballot will be conducted every Wed at 10am at Eagle’s View
Ballot results will be published on the respective timesheet in the golf booking system (miclub) every Wed at the same time as the ballot proceedings. 

Members who wish to view the ‘live’ ballot process are highly encouraged to do so online via Zoom – details can be found here. Members may also walk-in to Eagle’s View – capped at 20 pax on first-come-first-served basis.

  1. Each member is allowed to submit ONE ballot form for weekday timesheet.
    Please co-ordinate among your golf kakis to ensure that your name/membership no. does not appear in a different ballot form balloting for the same day. Members who contravene this rule will have both the flights cancelled automatically.
  2. Each member is allowed to BOOK only one flight and PLAY up to two times during weekdays. Members whose names appear a 3rd time for weekday timesheet will have their entire flight cancelled automatically and given to the next successful ballot.
  3. Ballot is by flight basis (minimum 2 balls) and player’s name(s) must be submitted in the same ballot form. 
  4. Tee times will be assigned in running order during the physical ballot to ensure fairness. Members will not be able to choose their preferred timing. 
  5. With effect from 21 Oct 2020, any requests for change of players’ names for successfully balloted flights must be made via email to timesheetupdate@seletarclub.com.sg. We will not be re-opening the timesheet after the ballot session. This is to avoid the situation of members changing the booker’s name instead of returning the flight to the Club as per the booking conditions.
  6. Slots booked for guests will have to be replaced with another guest, if changes are required. Prevailing guest rate will apply if the slot is subsequently replaced by a member.
  7. Max no. of guests allowed per day: 16 
  8. Each member can only play EITHER 18-holes timesheet or General Play timesheet on the same day. Members caught contravening this rule will be charged the day’s guest rate.
  9. Buggies are compulsory for 18-hole play.
  10. Maintenance Day: One nine will be closed whole day every Monday, while the other nine remains open for play.
  11. Waiting List: An additional 4 flights for each session (i.e. 8 flights per day) will be drawn from the ballot pool to be placed on the waiting list. Members who wish to be placed on the waiting list may also email golfenquiry@seletarclub.com.sg or call 6486 0801/7 after 3pm on Wed.

FOR WEEKEND GOLF

 
With effect from Fri, 16 Oct (for 31 Oct – 1 Nov timesheet), we will be moving to an interim ballot system until the new booking system is ready.

FOR GENERAL PLAY

Online bookings for GP will open 2 days before the date of play.

  1. With effect from Mon, 2 Nov 2020 (booking opens Sat, 31 Oct), each member is allowed to book any number of balls (minimum 1 ball up to maximum 4 balls).
  2. Strictly NO change in names of ALL players. Should there be any such changes, the slot(s) will be made vacant and available for booking from 3pm on the day of play and for the following morning. To book the available vacant slots, members may call the Golf office at 6486 0801/7 or email golfenquiry@seletarclub.com.sg after 3pm.
  3. Each member is allowed to play up to four times during weekday. Members who contravene this rule will have their flight cancelled automatically.
  4. Each member can only play EITHER 18 holes timesheet or GP timesheet on the same day. Members caught contravening this rule will be charged the day’s guest rate.
  5. Strictly no crossover.
  6. In the event of inclement weather, flights will tee-off in the order of GP 1st timesheet, before timesheet starts for the morning session or after the crossover for the afternoon session.
  7. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged for any ”No-show” without a valid medical certificate.

SUMMARY OF MAXIMUM SLOTS PER MEMBER

A member can only play a maximum of the following:

FOR WEEKDAYS (36 HOLES):

Each member is allowed to BOOK only one flight and PLAY up to two times during weekdays:

  • 2 rounds of 18-hole timesheet OR

  • 4 rounds of 9-hole GP OR

  • 1 round of 18-hole timesheet and 2 rounds of 9-hole GP

FOR WEEKENDS:

Each member is allowed to book and play either 1 round of Timesheet OR 1 round of GP on either Saturday or Sunday per week. Public holidays are not included in the weekend count.

  • 1 round of 18-hole timesheet OR

  • 1 round of 9-hole GP
