The tee shot here dictates success but requires thought and strategy. Depending on wind and tee location the long bomber may want to hit 3-wood. Anything carrying the fairway bunker on the right better hit a fade or the ball may come close to the lake. Most golfers will need to hit the ball well with the goal of getting to the top of the ridge. From here it is still an ominous approach with water all along the left of the fairway and green, and 2 green side bunkers guarding the bailout to the right. With the green sitting at a diagonal along the water, proper club selection is critical to getting the ball close.
