Eagle's View Closed for Private Functions

Please be informed that Eagle's View will be closed on the following dates for private functions. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Online Booking Available for Full 18-Hole Flight

Online booking will be offered to all golfing members for weekday and weekend flights with effective from Tuesday, 24 August 2010. This will be available for:

 

a. All flights on weekdays

b. 50% of available flights on weekends and public holidays (50% site bookings*)

c. All Club competitions

 

* Site bookings on Tuesdays at Seletar Terrace will commence at 7:00 am. Online booking will be available from 9:00 am on the same day as site booking.

 

Online Booking For Weekends and Public Holidays

Opens at 9:00 am every Tuesday for the following weekend (50% of available flights)

Example: Bookings for Sat & Sun, 4 & 5 September will open on Tue, 24 August at 9:00 am

 

Online Booking for Weekdays

Opens at 9:00 am every Wednesday for flights in the following week.

Example: Bookings for Fri, 3 September will open on Wed, 25 August at 9:00 am

 

Reminder:

1. Only members with Handicap Index of 24.4 and below are allowed to play on weekends and public 

    holidays.

 

2. Only the principal OR the spouse member is allowed to book one slot a day on weekends and

    public holidays. The Club reserves the right to cancel one flight upon infringement of this regulation.

 

3. A minimum of 3 persons are required to make up a flight.

Temporary Traffic Scheme - Partial Opening of Seletar Aerospace Drive

There will be a temporary traffic scheme that will take effect from Friday, 16 July 2010 till end of August 2010. Part of Seletar Aerospace Drive will open and there will be changes for the routes towards and from Seletar Airport, Seletar West Link and Yishun Ave 1.

 

Please turn left into Seletar Aerospace Drive if you are coming to the Club from the direction of Seletar Camp.

 

To get to Seletar Camp from the Club, please turn right to access Seletar Aerospace Drive via Seletar West Link.

Opening of Renovated Nine (Phase One) for Play
We are pleased to announce that the renovated nine under Phase One has been opened for play and shall be played under the following composite holes:

Do note that play on the par-3 Hole No. 2 is strictly prohibited as the hole is not open for play.

Golfers are to use Hole 7 (composite hole 6) to get back to the clubhouse after playing out Hole 12 (composite hole 9). Do keep a watch out for golfers playing on this hole.



Modifications to Hole 14, Hole 15 and Green 16

Hole 14 -  A new blue tee will be constructed, pulling back by about 45 metres. The white tees will be relocated to the previous blue tee position. The red tees will be relocated to the previous white tees. With this change, a new 14th green will be constructed, moving it backwards by about 45 metres.

Holes 14/15 - With the shifting back of the 14th green by about 45 metres, a new blue tee for Hole 15 will be built on the original hole 14th green position to provide a scenic and challenging shot. Across the expanse of the pond, the new distance for this par-3 hole will be 175 metres from the blue tee.

Hole 16 - Three new sand bunkers will be constructed behind the green. These new hazards at the back of the green demand accuracy and control in the approach shot. The visual impact of this new green complex with the new bunkers in the backdrop is awesome.
