Safe Management Plan


In line with strict Safe Management practices, members are reminded to observe the following in Phase 2:

 

MASKS

  • Wear a mask at all times (except when eating/drinking or doing strenuous activities. Golfers may choose to keep their masks on while golfing if they prefer). Those who refuse will be denied entry to the Club or any of our facilities, and will be subject to disciplinary action.
  • Staff reserve the right to turn away members who appear unwell.
  • Use and dispose your mask correctly.

 

SINGLE ENTRY/EXIT POINTS

  • Designated single entry/exit points.
  • SafeEntry Station & Thermal Scanner available for temperature screening at the Guardhouse (Click here for how-to guides)
  • ​Please observe the movement routes and cooperate with our staff to ensure smooth traffic flow and avoid overcrowding. 

 

SAFE DISTANCING

  • For individuals, observe a social distance of 2m or 2 arms’ length from one another.
  • For groups of maximum 5 persons, observe a social distance of 3m or 3 arms’ length from other individuals or groups.
  • Do not intermix or mingle between tables or group-hop when dining or engaging in activities.
  • Avoid shaking hands or any other physical interaction with others.
  • Avoid in-person bookings and enquiries. Call or email us instead. 
  • All water coolers around the Club and on the golf course will be disabled.
  • All are encouraged to download the “TraceTogether” app to facilitate contact tracing.

 

GUESTS

  • For facilities at the Sports Complex, members are allowed to bring up to 2 guests (accompanied).
  • For dine-in at the F&B outlets, guests must be accompanied at all times.

 

CHANGING ROOMS – STEAM ROOM/SAUNA

  • Limited to 45 minutes per use.
  • Observe a social distance of at least 2m from other users.
  • Members must draw the temperature control access key from the counter staff before using the steam room.
  • Please switch off the temperature control, lock and return key to the counter after use.

 

GOLF

BEFORE, DURING & AFTER YOUR GAME

  • To minimise physical contact, members are advised to refrain from entering the golf office / reception. If you need any assistance, please call 6486 0801 / 7.
  • Registration for golf rounds will be done at the Starter Hut.
  • Safe distancing indicators will be clearly marked on the ground at registration or any possible crowded areas. Please abide by them.
  • Water coolers around the Club & on the golf course will be disabled. Bring your own water.
  • No sharing of golf clubs.
  • Facilities, equipment, and golf buggies will be constantly sanitized.
  • Adopt a “Use and Leave” or “Golf and Go Home”principle – once you are done, exit the room or space; do not linger before/after your game.
  • No mixing or mingling between groups before, during and after golf.
  • All golfers must bring your golf bags to your car immediately after your game to minimise contamination. Please do not leave them at the Golf Complex for subsequent pick-up after your shower or for any other reason.

 

 ON THE GOLF COURSE

  • Bring your own water & carry along personal hand sanitizers.
  • Golfers may choose to wear their masks during their golf game if preferred.
  • All touchable surfaces (e.g. bunker rakes, water coolers, ball retrievers, ball washers etc) will be removed or disabled.
  • Sand canisters/sandbags will be distributed accordingly and properly sanitized after every use.
  • Flagsticks will be left in the hole and implants provided to prevent the ball from dropping onto the bottom of the cup.
  • Maximum of 4 golfers per group with staggered time intervals.
  • One driver per buggy per 18-holes play (buggy sharing may be permitted for some people living under the same household) / dividers installed in golf buggies to maintain distancing.

 

PRO SHOP

  • Keep within safety markers at all times.
  • Only 2 customers allowed within the Pro Shop at all times.

 

DRIVING RANGE

  • Single entry/exit points will be established – please follow accordingly.
  • Strictly one golfer per bay and no exceptions will be given to family members.
  • No mingling or discussions with golfers from other bays at all times.
  • Keep within the social distance markers at all ball dispensing machines.
  • Water coolers will be disabled.
  • No physical contact with coaches during lessons and coaches will remain outside bay practice areas.
  • “Use and leave” principle will be adopted (no lingering around before/after your practice).
  • Transview staff and teaching pros will act as safety ambassadors and patrol these areas.
  • Surfaces and objects in relevant spaces will be cleaned and disinfected at least twice or more a day, particularly surfaces that are touched by users.

 

CHIPPING GREEN

  • Golfers need to keep within marked lots. 
  • Capacity will be limited and entry is on first-come-first-served basis.
  • Fairway and greenside bunkers limited to 1 golfer per time only.
  • “Use and leave” principle will be adopted (no lingering around before/after your practice).

SPORTS & RECREATIONAL FACILITIES

  • To avoid overcrowding, call the respective Poolside or Bowling counters ahead of time to check on the facility’s occupancy.
  • Abide by the maximum occupancy limit of each facility. Our staff reserves the right to ask members to vacate the facility or put you on waitlist if the facility has reached its maximum capacity.
  • All equipment on loan such as bowling balls and shoes, table tennis rackets or yoga mats will be sanitized after use.

GYM & BOWLING

  • A 60-min time limit will be enforced for all gym users when the gym reaches maximum occupancy (14 pax) on weekends & public holidays.
  • Maintain at least 3m social distance (3 arm-lengths) wherever possible.
  • Wipe down and sanitise all equipment after use.
  • Use personal equipment such as your own bowling balls or shoes if possible.
  • House balls will be kept by the staff for hygiene purposes. If you require them, please approach our staff for assistance. Each member is allowed up to 2 house balls per person.
  • For bowling – only alternate lanes can be used, and up to 2 persons allowed per lane.
  • For gym – avoid using a machine if there is  already someone on the machine next to it.
  • Do not linger around waiting for machines, equipment or people. Adopt a “Use and Leave” principle – once you are done with a place or equipment, exit the room or space.
  • Personal training and/or rehabilitation will resume.
  • As per strict Singapore Bowling Federation guidelines dated 18 June 2020, all bowlers must put on their face masks while bowling.

 

SWIMMING POOL

  • A 1.5-hour (i.e. 90-min) time limit will be enforced for all members & guests using the pool during peak hours from 1pm – 7pm on weekends & public holidays. Anyone who exceeds the time limit will be asked to leave the pool.
  • Each member is allowed to bring up to 2 guests.
  • At all times, maintain at least 3m safe distance from other groups within the pool.

 

TENNIS COURTS

  • For safety reasons, courts 2 and 6 will be closed and unavailable for booking.
  • Club Tennis Night will be resuming from 24 Sep (view rules & regulations here).

 

EXERCISE ROOM

  • Bring your own yoga mats for hygiene purposes.

 

MAHJONG ROOM 

  • Only one session allowed per table per day.
  • Only one booking per member per day allowed. 
  • Masks must be worn at all times.
  • Compulsory temperature screening for all members & guests at Main Reception. Staff reserves the right to disallow members/guests from using the Mahjong Room if they appear unwell.
  • Safe distance of 2m between tables.
  • Strictly no intermingling between tables.
  • Strictly no food & drinks allowed inside during this period.
  • Guests policy: 1 member can only bring max 2 guests, i.e, Minimum 2 membership cards to be presented for registration of 1 table.
  • After use, please leave all tiles on the table for cleaning & sanitization.

 

READING ROOM 

  • Keep your mask on at all times.
  • Observe a social distance of at least 1m from other users.
  • Avoid physical contact and social interaction with other users. 
  • Shared items such as newspapers and magazines have been removed to minimise contamination and prevent local spread of the virus.

 

F&B

  • To minimise contact, no hardcopy menu will be given out when you dine at the F&B outlets. Members will scan a QR code to view the menu on your personal mobile phones or tablets.
  • Please tap your membership cards for payment.
  • Printed receipts will be issued only on request basis; as a standard, members will receive their e-receipts via their registered email addresses.
  • No live bands / TV allowed till further notice.
  • Dining in open to members & accompanied guests only.
  • Maximum seating per table is limited to 5 per group.
  • For groups, do not intermix or mingle between tables or group-hop when dining.
  • Manpower curbs are still on, with strict split of workforce into 2 teams. Please expect slower service and a limited menu due to shortage of manpower.
  • Avoid the crowd & order “takeaway” during peak periods.
  • Only a short queue will be allowed. So take a number & return later.
  • A safe distance of 2m between individuals and 3m between groups will apply.
